The Dog Nannies are a network of 200+ enthusiastic young women with extensive experience with dogs. They are highly educated, urban professionals aged 20-30, just like you. Many grew up with dogs but don’t have one now due to city life, and they deeply miss having canine companionship. That means they have plenty of love to give!

We work with a 1:10 ratio, meaning we recruit 10 nannies per premium member to ensure there is always coverage. At the moment, we have a cap of 20 premium members to maintain the quality of our service. This is why it’s a premium service. Outside of holidays and peak seasons, we can always find someone for you. So, to be sure of your spot, we recommend a membership.

We have a great team. But we really recommend getting to know each other well beforehand. Not just you, but also your dog has to like the nanny, and the nanny must feel 100% comfortable with your dog’s specific needs. Not a match? No problem! We encourage you and your dog to get to know your Pet Nanny (e.g., through a meet & greet) to ensure a good fit. If it doesn’t feel right, just send us a message. We’ll handle it and introduce you to someone else.

Everything you need. Walks, vacation boarding, house sits, and even special requests—like administering medication, teaching commands, dog taxi services, or an au pair to travel with you. Name it!

We are just not a platform. Instead, we personally select Dog Nannies based on your specific request and your dog's needs to find the perfect match for you. No need to scroll through endless profiles or wait for responses. Just send us a message, and we’ll arrange the best match for you. If your regular Dog Nanny becomes unavailable (e.g., due to illness), simply reach out, and we’ll take care of arranging a replacement.

With the Free Membership, you book a standard 60-minute walk. The nanny will fill in how they schedule the walk (exact time and location). With the Premium or Unlimited service, the walk can be fully customized. Walk as long as you want, at any time, and anywhere.

Definitely! You can request a walk whenever you need one, even multiple times per day or outside of our daycare hours (e.g., evenings or weekends).

It’s the perfect combination of a boarding facility and a homestay. During the day, your dog gets to play and socialize at Hotdoghouse Daycare, ensuring they’re happily tired by evening. At night, your personal Dog Nanny takes them home, where they can rest in a cozy, home-like environment—getting the best of both worlds!

You pay the nanny fee directly AFTER the booking, via Tikkie to the nanny. If you have a Free Membership, you’ll receive an invoice from us for the matching fee, before the booking. If you cancel or change your booking, the matching fee will still apply, and the nanny will charge the nanny fee. If you have a membership, no separate fee will be charged, and the amount is automatically deducted monthly—that’s the big benefit of having a membership!

With a Premium or Unlimited membership, no extra costs are charged if there’s no match or if you cancel last minute. With a Free membership, you pay per proposed match. If you feel there’s no match, no problem! We’ll suggest someone else, but you’ll be charged a new matching fee. If you cancel after confirming the nanny, you’ll be charged both the matching fee and the nanny fee. Again, with a Premium/Unlimited subscription, you won’t pay any additional fees.

Overnight care is calculated from check-in day to check-out day. For example, if you check in on March 1st (at any time during the day) and check out on March 5th, the total will be 5 days. The fee will be calculated as 5 x the overnight fee per day.
